Kain tried to look apologetic toward Matoya, but feared the damage was already done. He knew it was information that he really needed to know, as well, which made it all the worse that he'd let himself be agitated by Edge.

As they left the cave, Kain drew his spear. But unlike Edge, he didn't immediately drop it when Rydia began lecturing them. "She said she gave us all the answers we need. That's good enough for me."
