Thanks to her blind status, Selphie's voice came as a surprise to Quistis and forced the blond to abruptly pause her steps. Her hand tightened around Gabranth's, and automatically her arm gave a small jerk as if to hide their joined hands behind her back, but she realized that it would be no use; obviously Selphie had caught it. So once she straightened her posture, Quistis tried to keep her expression neutral, though there was a small lift to the corner of her lips as well as a faint blush to her cheeks.
