This was the life. Rinoa relaxed on a sun lounger, soaking up the rays. Behind her sunglasses, her eyes were closed. She could hear the waves lapping gently against the beach in the background. It was as though the dragon invasion had never happened.

A group of holidaymakers passed by, laughing and joking as they headed for the sea. Rinoa sat up to take a look around. Hmm. Maybe it was time she went for a swim. But first she needed to reapply her sun cream. She smoothed back her hair and picked up her bottle of sun lotion. Now was there anyone around who might want to help?

Edge took a moment to walk a little further down the beach and engage one of the vendors. He knew he couldn't avoid appreciating the view for much longer and sunglasses seemed the most prudent way to study the scenery.

Putting on the glasses, he began the short trek back to his friends taking note of the wonders surrounding him: Nice, Nice, Very Nice.

"You know I never did find out what happened with those two bar girls you were with," quipped a familiar voice. The cowboy in the hat was walking towards the man as he grinned and replied, "Edge was it?" He didn't think he'd meet him again, but I guess Gaia has a way of being such a small world.

Shooting his head around, "Leave them out of this! I'm with Rydia now."

"Rydia huh? I think I've met her once," he stated, "Nice woman. You picked a good person." The cowboy nodded and replied, "I take it everything is alright with you then?"

Edge nodded, "Troia's safe and with Cecil around to look after it...I can have some fun. And you?" He made a point of looking towards Selphie as the question was asked.

He saw that Edge, he knows he was looking at Selphie. "I'm alright...bit bruised and banged up, but nothing I can't walk away from. Plus the ladies love a man who's man enough to risk his life..." He chuckled at the thought of ideas on what to tell ladies on his bruises.

Course the first thing that came to mind was saving a Moogle from a burning house...or a beast.

Edge smiled before responding, "Or a man who will throw them in the water!"

A sly smirk on the cowboy's face as he replied, "I've not met with Rydia too many times...I'm not sure if she would like it..." But he had an idea who would, searching around for a brunette.

"But then again, who am I to know, right?"

Edge joined in with the smirk before adding quietly, "Who knows. I just want to see them dripping wet. eh?"

A chuckle before the cowboy grinned and dirtly replied, "In more ways the one, I am to assume right?"

Edge tipped down his glasses for a moment, "If you insist." He can't believe Rydia actually suggested they come out to the beach, but he was already enjoying himself. Getting a good look at Selphie, he said the first thing that came to his mind. "Nice."

"Just enjoying the view!" He gave as an answer that Irvine wouldn't need to worry about him encroaching on his territory.

He couldn't help but look out at the water, "Why, you want this whole beach to yourself?"

Edge has nearly forgotten that the kiss was out in public. He should have probably not responded to the question, but before he knew it he had already responded. "Jealous?"

Edge grinned at Selphie, "Why don't you ask Rydia." He had always found it safer to be discrete around the ladies. "Because she doesn't seem to be complaining."
