This was the life. Rinoa relaxed on a sun lounger, soaking up the rays. Behind her sunglasses, her eyes were closed. She could hear the waves lapping gently against the beach in the background. It was as though the dragon invasion had never happened.

A group of holidaymakers passed by, laughing and joking as they headed for the sea. Rinoa sat up to take a look around. Hmm. Maybe it was time she went for a swim. But first she needed to reapply her sun cream. She smoothed back her hair and picked up her bottle of sun lotion. Now was there anyone around who might want to help?

Fran pushed herself to her feet as Agrias approached. "Agrias, it is good to see you." It was good to see she hadn't been turned into dragon food! It was easy enough to cover up an injury over the phone, but face to face was much harder. Fran's own injuries had healed well, only faint claw marks remained along her ears and shoulder.

"The beach. It is alive with people. It is nice to see everyone relaxing after such events."

Agrias registered Fran's words only after she took notice of the scars the latter had surely earned during the dragon attacks. She made no show of observing them, for she knew well how to cast her gaze subtly and indirectly. Her own were visible as well, though they were far less in their severity than those of the Viera. Turning her eyes to the beach and those assembled upon it, she found herself in agreement with the other woman's words.

"Aye, it is," she said, then looked back to Fran. "It truly is good to see you. You look well, mayhap better than I imagined from your description of your injuries."

"I am lucky. I have healed well. There were many far less fortunate than I." Including, but not limited to Balthier and Mjrn. Mjrn had lost her life and Balthier had come close. It had been a hard time to deal with. But the Viera had remained ever strong. She had to be. Who else would hold things together?

"You, are healing too?" She had missed her magicks more than ever during the attack, what few spells she had were useful, but limited.
