The Four Mirrors - Water

Off the west coast of the Forgotten Continent, the airship soared, with nothing in sight but the endless blue ocean. On and on the water stretched, with no sign of land, not even the tiniest island with a single palm tree. Yet onward they flew until at last there was a rock. A sharp, jagged spike of dark rock jutting up from the ocean floor, surrounded by a swirling whirlpool of water. At the base of the rock was a cave opening, just tall enough for an average man to walk through.

This was the site. "We're here!" One of the knights called to the valiant heroes about to face off the Guardian of the Water Seal. "Give 'em hell, eh? Ah, my apologies, Lady Eiko." He'd clean forgotten the child was present with this party. The airship descended, touching down on the only bare and dry patch of land available. Not much bigger than a postage stamp in the pilot's opinion.

From here, the party exited the ship with well wishes from the knights who took the airship back into the skies to wait. What lay before was the damp aperture of the cave. The approach was mossy and stony, and yet tendrils of ivy curled at the edges, and delicate bursts of colors from flowers. A wall of water swirled around the site, and could easily submerge the cavern entirely, should the gravity pull of the whirlpool ever stop.

Edge checked his gear one last time as he spared a glance for his companions. He couldn't have asked to be on a better team. Between them, they encompassed a complete team, capable of toppling the creature within.

He took a deep breath and stepped into the cave with a nod towards Tidus, hoping to spare the ladies from any possible injury. He was taken by surprise the immediate lobs of water that came crashing from the depths of the cave. It was only his ninja toned reflexes that spared him great injury as he quickly raised a katana to deflect the onslaught, only to be doused by the dispersed water.
