Characters: Ramza Beoulve, Yuffie Kisaragi & Ovelia Atkascha
Progress: On-going
Summary: Truths uncovered, tales retold, this is the beginning of a new chapter for them all.
Location: Galbadia
Date: Oct 15
Warnings: None
With Yuffie in tow, Ramza made haste to Galbadia as soon as they finished their address to friends and allies alike. The Stone of Cancer was successfully and safely within their grasp after many days of searching. Everyone could breathe easier now, especially since the threatening beast that lurks within this stone shan’t see the light of day. While Ramza knew nothing in regards of Zeromus and his fiendish powers, the fearful message that Kain delivered was enough to win his judgment.
The Lucavi were dangerous foes, creatures of phenomenal strength that rivals the powers of the gods. If Zeromus were to awaken within this realm, Gaia would face another threat in the form these mischievous demons. However, such a tale shall never be now that fortune has returned to their side. Gazing at the crimson stone with such wonder, Ramza pocketed the gem once the ship docked at the city.
“We’ve arrived!” He called out to Yuffie who seemed to be practicing a few breathing exercises. The poor girl definitely wasn’t fond of flying, but it was quicker to reach Galbadia by air travel than by chocobo. Taking a quick glance at his sky phone, Ramza’s expression soured once he read Delita’s message.
“What shall do with you, old friend?” He muttered to himself as he closed his phone.
“Yuffie, we must go!” Ramza reached for his blade.

His new words caught her off guard, her eyes widening in shock. "Wait, what? What's wrong?"

Date: 2010-10-16 04:23 am (UTC)"Mayhap traveling by chocobo in the future would suit you better." He lowered his hand. "I do not wish for you to become ill, Yuffie." Ramza doubted that Ovelia would mind traveling by chocobo with them, but the trip to Figaro will be quite perilous if they did so. Thus, it seems they'll have to travel by airship once more.

Date: 2010-10-17 12:35 am (UTC)She glanced back at the Garden Entrance, kicking a stone with her foot before staring forward, sighing.
She hated waiting. It always took so long, but it seemed like since she'd come here, waiting was all she'd seem to do. Waiting for a response to a call, waiting for Ramza...
Then she'll end up waiting in Figaro until people figure out just what to do with her, which would lead to more waiting.
...
She shouldn't have burst like she did, crying at Ramza like she was a little girl. She was a woman now, far too old to act like a five year old child. She should have kept it to herself--maybe told him in person and in private, and without all that crying.
She was pathetic.
She really needed to apologize when he got here. Or just...not bring it up again...

Date: 2010-10-20 04:31 am (UTC)"Ah?" Jolted free from his thoughts once he spotted a familiar hue of red and gold, Ramza's eyes widened once he realized it was her. "Ovelia!" He waved over to her with much urgency, quickly gathering Yuffie's hand in his own as they rushed towards the princess.
The girl looked frazzled, lost within a sea of uncertainty and doubt. That worrisome gleam within Ovelia's eyes caused him much worry. Searching for words to use as comfort, Ramza was stunned to silence once his thoughts strayed towards his sister. Ovelia looked as lost as Alma did once Ramza told her the truth of his plight. Remembering the frightful look within her eyes, Ramza sighed. He truly wished for the best for dear Alma, even if he was now powerless to save her.

Date: 2010-10-21 03:58 am (UTC)Ahead, there was the princess. From this distance, she looked like a normal, everyday princess. With Ramza grabbing her hand, she fell into step alongside him until they met up with her. "We're sorry we took so long!"

Date: 2010-10-23 07:27 am (UTC)Ovelia's head snapped up, and the girl stood, perhaps a bit too quickly for her own good. As soon as she had stood she stumbled, one foot falling in front of the other, and it took a quick step or two to manage to get herself situated straight up.
There was Ramza, and...someone else. His companion? Well, that was the most logical explanation.
Her heart beat fast, and those thoughts in the back of her mind started to quiet, the words she had wanted to say to both of them lost in the back of her throat.
She opened her mouth once, twice.
Ramza was here. Someone she knew, someone she trusted, was actually here! After so long of being away from the people she knew she could depend on, instead being fed to the wolves...
It made her want to cry.
Holding relief back as well as she could--though it was certainly apparent on her face, she was sure--she gave the two of them a smile, and a curtsy.
"Please do not apologize. I am only grateful that the two of you came all this way."
They came for me. Though they did not have to, they came.
It made those tears she wanted to shed all that much harder to hold back.

Date: 2010-10-31 07:47 pm (UTC)“Ovelia.” He made sure to call her by her name again, and not by her false title. While admittedly he felt odd calling her by her given name, Ramza knew she would have it no other way now. To refer to her as 'Your Highness' would be a painful insult for her to endure after she told him the truth.
"Are you well? We should make haste to Figaro before the summit begins."

Date: 2010-10-31 08:30 pm (UTC)Figaro! Yuffie had almost forgotten about the Heads of State meeting that they were going to. So many things were happening as of late and it nearly made her head spin. The Zodiac stones, and people getting possessed by them... it was crazy.

Date: 2010-10-31 08:38 pm (UTC)This was true...there was a summit going on, wasn't there? Ovelia wasn't certain if she had the authority to attend, herself, but there was much going in this world--perhaps more than what was going on in Ivalice at the current moment...
She gave both of them a nod, straightening her skirts with her hands.
"I am as well as I can be, and yes, we should hurry. My time has kept you far too long as it stands."
