The Return of the Prince
Characters: Rufus Shinra, Reno, Tseng
Progress: Ongoing
Summary: Rufus arrives at the Shinra manor in Lindblum
Location: Lindblum
When: Backdated, after this
Warnings: None as of yet
Rufus' journey to Lindblum was comfortable. As comfortable as possible, at least. A private room on board an airship out of a nearby dock did little to ease the buzzing beneath his skin as his thoughts raced, thinking back on everything that had happened, all he had learned within the past few hours.
After landing, he stepped out onto the dock, the city bustling even as night fell, looking for familiar red hair, hating how out of his element he felt. He didn't know this city, this country... He couldn't walk in like he was the ruler of the world, because it wasn't his world.
Everything had been snatched from him the moment it was gained.
So Rufus carefully kept his expression drawn and closed off as he scanned the lingering crowd, the blankness in his eyes betraying just how far away his thoughts really were.
