Jote was beginning to get her old strength back and as such was finding it increasingly difficult to simply stay quiet in Fran's arms. For the moment, she did so, though the look on her face as she lifted her head to look around definitely showed how unamused she was by this prospect.

"At least I have found myself in the city I was intending to reach."

Jote always had a way of brushing off kindness, but those who knew her would be able to tell that she really did appreciate this sort of thing... She just didn't always know how to show it, nor was she often able to, considering her life in the Wood.
