That was helpful. Kain felt more of his strength returning... which he'd need now that he wasn't in a blind fury. It took the edge off his weariness and reinvigorated him. Maybe he wouldn't have called this "fun", but he definitely was enjoying the thrill of so much challenge.

He Jumped again, to take another enemy by surprise. But as he landed one of the remaining bandersnatches became slightly more bold. It launched itself at him, leaping and clawing at his arm, nearly dragging his spear out of hand entirely. He brought the weapon into a shaky counter-strike, at the moment just managing to hold it off.
