Auron lingered behind the women and child. He wanted to be inconspicuous. And he didn't have much of an opinion to offer on the subject of summons. So he stayed behind and hoped that the old adage 'out of sight, out of mind' would prove true. But he was careful to keep Eiko in his sights, no matter how far behind them he fell.
