Terra was completely silent as she watched Eiko seemingly talking to her father through the magicite shard. She wasn't even breathing at all, just...watching, waiting for what she assumed would be some horrible disappointment.

When Eiko offered the gem back, Terra reached out to take it without saying anything, just looking at it in her hand for what felt like a long time. "Okay." She finally said, turning to smile at Eiko. It was a small smile, but her eyes were bright, almost thrilled really. She probably would've said thank you if not for how distracted she was.

She turned away then, carefully reattaching the chain around her neck and slipping the gem back under her shirt.
