[Thread; Semi-open]

Characters: Rosa and anyone in Troia who helped with the pirate situation
Progress: Ongoing
Summary: Rosa thanks everyone for coming to her aid
Location: Troia
Date: Early Feb
Warnings: Vayne being a creeper? None really for now

Cecil's departure had very nearly set Rosa's world upside down. In fact, she had come to wonder how she was still upright. Rydia's arrival had been a blessing, as the summoner had practically forced her to sleep and even though she'd slept fitfully, at least she'd rested some. Something was always better than nothing.

She'd done what she could for the people of Troia, following Vayne's strategical suggestions thoroughly. Once reinforcements had arrived, the pirates had been conquered and Rosa could now rest easily. As soon as she had finished patching up those who had been injured in the subsequent battles and made sure the citizens were all right still, Rosa knew she needed to thank those who had come to her aid. Without them, she and the town of Troia would have been overrun in a matter of minutes.

So, she'd issued an order for everyone to either meet in the middle of the town or to allow her to find them. With any luck at all, those who had assisted her would allow her this one final request.

((OOC: feel free to create separate threads or whatever you guys feel like doing. If you need a Rosa specifically, specify that you're looking for her, or I'll just assume she found them to thank them.))

Rydia nodded cautiously, satisfied for now. "We wouldn't have fared as well without everyone's help. I'm glad we could make it in time. But now that it's over, there's something I need to do. So...maybe a good night's rest and then it's time to leave.

"What would that be?" Kain looked at her, at least somewhat curious. "I assume this to be something other than retrieving the Lunar Whale..." Whatever it was, Kain had a feeling from the way it sounded that it was some task for her alone. He might be mistaken, but she'd explain soon enough anyway.

"Well, yes...." Rydia crossed her arms, trying to figure out how to explain. "The spirit of a non-native Eidolon that bonded with me reached out, earlier. She said that she had news, and to meet her as soon as possible. So, I need to reach the Eidolon Wall in Madain Sari. I don't think it will take a lot of time, but she wouldn't have made such a sending if it wasn't important. I don't think it can afford to be ignored. I still want to check out the Shimmering Island, but what she says might give us more insight."

Kain nods, feeling he has no place to question anything that's the business of the Eidolons. If they have word for her, then... maybe it will assist in getting them closer to a return home. Possibly. "Perhaps it will. I would hope this journey doesn't take you too long..."

Rydia shook her head. "I doubt it, with the Lunar Whale. Whatever happens, I plan to be in and out as quickly as possible. There's no other reason keeping me there, not when we have other issues that need attention, too."

"Of course." The sooner they saw to those, the better in Kain's opinion. He didn't plan to remain here for much longer after all. "Then... good luck in accomplishing your task."
