"One day, the boy asked the princess to meet him at the top of a hill, and he made her a promise. If he could go to a far away kingdom and learn to become a Knight, just like the world's greatest Knight, he'd rescue her if she ever needed saving." Cloud's eyes were filled with emotion. This was as true a story as he could ever tell.

Shifting a little, he stroked her head gently. "So, he went away, and tried to be a Knight, but all he could be was a Squire. It made him sad, but a really great Knight told him to keep working so the boy tried his hardest."

A frown creased his brow. "On a special Knight's job, the boy went with his friend, the new Knight, all the way back to his home kingdom but he had to hide his face or the princess would know he hadn't become a Knight yet. But then the world's greatest Knight did something really bad and destroyed the kingdom."
