After a little bit of disorientation, the ex-SOLDIER had managed to get accurate directions to the blonde girl's pile of broken down machines and stuff. His sword was about the biggest identifier he could have had, besides his glowing blue eyes, which darted here and there, taking the sights and sounds of Goug and the Al Bhed working. They were speaking a language he didn't understand, but Zack's eyes were fixed now on a blonde in a bikini, the very same young lady he'd been speaking to on the MoogleNet. Zack was pretty relieved by the sight of someone familiar, even if the idea of an afraid, alone Lulu giving birth in a strange place had a vicegrip on his chest.

"Rikku? Rikku!" he waved wildly, grinning a bit, his fingerless gloves stretching along with his hand, to be very conspicuous. The man picked up his step, jogging the rest of the way over to her. Sure, some blonde folks with green eyes were giving him weird looks, dirty looks, appraising looks.. all kinds of looks. Some even looked ready for a fight, considering how the armed man had simply barged on in. "It's me, Zack Fair, remember?"

"Yeah.." he looked so down and out for a moment that his spikey hair might have drooped, but then he perked up and put on a brave face, flexing one hand into a fist in front of him, "Bah! No use gettin' damn sad about it, I'll just hafta find 'er, won't I?" he nodded, psyching himself up to kick the bad mood.

Zack tapped his chin gently, thinking to himself, "I read on the MoogleNet that you can get a general idea of location.. or at least direction, by reading the signal.. Then again, it seems pretty choppy.." he just didn't know enough about this stuff! How frustrating was that?!

"Oh yeah!" She tugged out her mooglenet phone then and started fiddling with it, bringing up her conversation with Lulu from before. "But I mean, if she's real far away..." Rikku shrugged, then pointed west. "She's...that way! No idea how far or anything, but I guess we could start walkin'. I think there's a city or something near that big tree..."

She shrugged apologetically. "Sorry, I'm worried about her too, I just...don't really know what to do."

"Yeah, me neither.." he sighed and laced his fingers together behind his head, looking up at the sky. Wait a minute.. the.. the sky!! "Rikku!" he grinned and pumped a fist, "I've got a plan! We'll get an -airship-! Then we can book it out west and see if we can't get a clearer signal and find Lulu!!" get? Steal, more likely..

It sounded like a great plan, even if his fist pumping had those moody Al Bhed on edge.. "Just.." he scratched at one cheek, "Where the hell do we find one of those?"

"Lindblum," Rikku might not have been that familiar with Gaia, but she'd been here long enough to learn that almost all the airships were in lindblum. The girl was drawn to machina, after all. "It's on the continent south from here though, we'll have to figure out how to get there.

The Al'Bhed were indeed rustling around them, and Rikku tossed one of them a bit of an annoyed glare. "We should leave right away! Just lemmie get this stuff gathered up..." She began picking up all the bits of the little robot thing she was trying to build.

"Awright, I got nothin' keepin' me here!" Zack grinned at Rikku, and nodded as he waited, "Anythin' I can help ya carry? I mean, we can figure out how t'get t'Lindblum on th'way." he rather liked this blonde girl's spunk and impetuousness.

Really, Zack wasn't thinking this whole thing through, but luck favours the bold!
