A rather sudden intake of air as if the man in bed had just surfaced from being underwater for far too long. Green eyes opened, the oval pupils adjusting after a moment to the lack of any lighting currently within the room. Without even needing a light, a few things made themselves readily apparent. One, he currently felt considerably better now than he had when he'd originally passed out. Two, there was someone here with him...likely Genesis considering how bad off he'd been when he had made that last call before falling. Unfortunately no matter how much he tried to ignore the third thing demanding his attention, he couldn't avoid reaching upwards to run a hand over the black feathers above his right shoulder.

Which brought a fourth thing to his attention rather quickly when he actually felt the texture of the feathery down and feathers of the wing beneath his fingertips. His gloves were gone ...he cut off the thought which rose at that realization and tried to concentrate on something else, which predictably ended up being an utter failure. It would seem the world was conspiring to remind him of his origins and the small fact...despite trying to pretend otherwise, he seemed destined to end up a monster in the end one way or another.

"What--" He uttered quickly, snapping his head over to the bed. Sephiroth was up? And there the General was. He was up on his own. Again he was mixed on how to feel about this. On one hand, it was relieving to see him, up and well. And the the other, he couldn't help but think about all the things he had been told about him and the wing; all it brought.

And it was also hard to see him still. That pillow was something smart on his face. "It's nice to see you again, Sephiroth." It didn't come out as cheerful or confident as he had hoped.

He nodded at the other, hands making one last run over his not so tingling face and baggy eyes. "I'll survive." Angeal laughed, moving closer to his previously bed stricken friend. "How are you feeling?" he paused, wondering if he should add the next part.

"... I'm afraid I departed sometime during your coma, then came back not too long ago." He didn't have a single memory of this place from before his arrival, except the ones from home.

Genesis answered that unasked question. "I told Angeal everything, Sephiroth. He is from way back in Wutai, so he had no idea about even himself."

He walked back toward the bed, carefully finding it and then locating his chair. He sighed as he sat down. "We may need to prepare for another birth of a wing." Genesis raised an eyebrow, not bothering to try and locate Angeal's voice again. "You could be a bit more enthusiastic, Angeal, about Sephiroth. He'll think we don't like him anymore~."
