Once the pirates had been cleared from the island, it left one with rather little to do once the mess had been cleaned up and the bodies disposed of. Without duties or any distractions to be had despite the restoration of his phone, it would seem he currently had considerable time to think over things he'd been putting off for going on several months now. At least that one dream had stopped once he'd left Wutai behind him, even if the suggestion laden behind it was still with him.

Despite Cloud's apology and retraction of words, he couldn't help but think perhaps the blond had been at least partly right in some of them...quite possibly it was that small fact that had caused him to do as he did. He'd been trying to avoid the guilt and blame for what had occurred and Cloud had in essence refused to let him run away from it any longer.

Eyes shifting away from the seemingly endless horizon before him, fell to rest on the water below the docks upon which he currently stood. The black of the accursed wing stood out and seemed to demand notice, bringing another person's words to mind. What did it matter that both parents were human when those parents took it upon themselves to see to it that the majority of the child had the same DNA and cells of a monster?

Well, there was one thing Genesis found out about the creature that wouldn't stop following him. It was a good lead. And he finally found out what the creature was upon making a call soon after he went to Angeal and Sephiroth to pry the thing away from him and all three initially failed. It was a Moomba, though it looked like it was native only one world which was the world where the Garden was from.

He heard the rustling of feathers and murmured to the creature at his hip. "Take me to Sephiroth."

The moomba took hold of Genesis' hand and led him to the dock, carefully climbing the steps with his staff as a guide, he left go of the moomba's paw so approach Sephiroth. "So this is where you hide, dear general?"

And then enough was enough. A light conversation and a few splashes were alright, all things considered, but bickering and the starting actions of a fight? Oh no. Not after what happened. Angeal had been out and about, surveying the island when he heard shouting and the quiet replies. He breezed past Vincent, since he obviously had nothing to do with the bickering, nudging him back just a little bit to pass by and make a beeline to Zack.

A hand was on the boys shoulder not a second later, pushing him down on the dock. "Sit." And once Zack was sitting, he turned to Genesis and Sephiroth, parting them and doing to them what he did to his student. "Sit. Both of you." Angeal's tone was serious as he faced Genesis one way and Sephiroth the other, back to back. They wanted to talk? Well, now they would have to do so like children in time out. Anger wasn't the way to get points across, no matter how good it felt.

"We're all frustrated but act like adults. Humor me; for our sanity." It was a chain reaction with them wasn't it? Of course it was. He already knew that but... it was a whole new level here from what he was used to.
