In order to avoid Kefka showing up and destroying the place, Yuna and Tidus had kept the date and the preparations, on the whole, very on the down-low. So far Kefka hadn't actually gone to Luca, that they knew of, and neither of them had made big announcements about the date over the network. Most of the city knew, of course, as well as their friends, but they hoped that was as far as it had gone. Still, most of the wedding party had weapons in reserve, and the guests probably did, too.

But the wedding of a High Summoner was a Big Deal to native Spirans, and the fact that her groom was her Guardian and a skilled Blitzball player definitely drew more interest, leading many of the people in the city who hadn't gotten invitations to show up anyway just to try and catch a glimpse. There was no formal reception, but a large spread of food had been set up down the beach just a little ways, guarded from thieves and onlookers by more Blitz players until the ceremony was actually over. There was also a small musical group off to the side, playing various melodies for whomever wanted to dance. It was a social gathering, mainly, a time to talk and mingle, meet new friends and say hello to old ones, and maybe play a prank or two.

Just not on the newlyweds, please.

"He must be well-hidden...or perhaps he has protections far beyond anything we possess. Even so, he cannot hide forever. We will find him, and end his disruption of the balance." Mjrn sighed, staryin at the water. "But it is difficult, waiting. Were that such a plan could be enacted shortly."

"Hmm..." Her dress was starting to flap in the wind; Rinoa tugged it back down absent-mindedly. "Are you coming back to stay in Garden with us? For the festival?"

"Hm...where it is to take place? Here, or will it be elsewhere?" Mjrn had thought about lingering until it began, but it really depended on the location of the Garden itself at the time. She had no plans to miss it, regardless.

"Lindblum, Figaro, and Alfitaria," Rinoa replied. "We're flying off soon - but you could come aboard?"

For a moment, Mjrn is strongly tempted. It would be nice to travel in the Garden again. "I would...but my airship is here. I ought to return it to Figaro, in case it is needed. Besides...if I am found suitable, you shall see me in Garden quite often."

Rinoa smiled. "That's true. Garden feels too empty right now - but we're gonna fill it up! I wanna recruit as many people as possible."

She felt like Squall would have approved of that too.

"Do you know anyone else who has expressed interest?" Mjrn couldn't help but be a little curious about that. She didn't hear anyone else mention such, but then she had been rather busy of late.

Rinoa thought about it. "No, I don't," she said. "That's not a great start, is it? I guess I haven't felt like asking people lately... We're gonna have to step it up."

"You have been preoccupied; it is understandable. I am certain your efforts and others' will attract interest, though. This life, it is bound to appeal to some." It had appealed to Mjrn for some time, though she wanted to do many other things first before committing. Perhaps others felt the same way.

Rinoa nodded. "I think so..." She sighed wistfully. "We've gone kinda far now... Do you wanna go back?"

Mjrn glanced around, suddenly realizing that Rinoa was quite right. Their discussion had encouraged her to ignore the actual distance managed. She nodded, sheepish. "I did not meant for her to stray so far, nor would I presume to monopolize all your time at this celebration. Let us return."

"It's okay," said Rinoa. "I really needed to get away for a while. But yeah, let's go back."

And smiling, she took Mjrn's arm, feeling better already.
