Shocked by her choice of wording, Edward was led to believe that perhaps Penelo shared some words with Mjrn considering the guilt he feels. He wouldn't be surprised if the kind dancer did speak to Mjrn about this, especially considering how crestfallen he has been as of late. Silently thanking Penelo for whatever words shared between the two women, Edward smiled happily at Mjrn as he tried his best to believe her words.

Penelo and I both feared for the worst when the dragons attacked, but never in my days did I expect to lose someone during this awful attack. Nor did she." A sigh escaped his lips as he tried his best to explain himself. Words were failing him now, so perhaps it would be best to just quiet himself.
"Let us not dwell on this, Mjrn. All is well, isn't it?"
