It had started off innocently enough. An impish smile, a gentle tug of their bound hands. It had been surprisingly easy to sneak out of the reception. The guards had looked at them as they'd passed, but they'd been allowed out without any other pairs of eyes seeming to take notice. Dagger had refused to tell him where they were going, all she would say is that it was 'a surprise'.
Halfway down the hall, she stopped, turned to face him. "Close your eyes," she said.
