"Yes, clean," Cissnei repeated, following Reno closely. "Clean sounds good." She tried to keep a straight face, but the deeper they got into the swamp, the more sour her attitude turned. It didn't help that she was so short and her pack was getting dirty too. Cissnei tried to keep the Chalice out of the muck as much as possible.
"It's so easy for you boys," she snapped. "You could be dirty for a week and you wouldn't even care." Oh yeah, her temper was running a little short right now.
