After a long trek with various stops for rest, the three arrive to Goug. Auron is curious about this machine though he is not entirely surprised that this older Rikku was capable of building something so extravagant that it was deemed a major secret.

The sun glinted harshly against Auron's sunglasses. His eyebrows were furrowed against the light, as it bothered him more than he would have liked. Such a strange land, this Gaia. No two cities or towns or villages were the same and yet all of its people lived in a decent peace. Consider Rikku making friends and building something with this Cid (Why the hell are there so many Cids?). But here they were now, ready to be shown whatever it was that Rikku was so excited about.
