"It smells here," Eiko grumped. She was trying to be quiet, really she was but it was just so gross here! Fortunately she couldn't see what held the lilies up and was content to ride on Rishfee's shoulders. It made this something more of an adventure than a nasty mire crawl. Mostly. She was thinking it was really not fair that someplace so icky would be the somewhere from Rishfee's world that showed up.
Uncertain and crabby as she was, she hugged his head, as much for herself as for him. Holding on for dear life became vital as he explained the dangers of the water and she glanced over her shoulder just to make sure the rest were okay still.
