Characters: Terra, Cecil, Basch
Progress: On-going
Summary: What's Worth Fighting For
Location: Memoria
Date: March 11
Warnings: Sap, cheesiness, who knows what else.
After everything that had happened in the past month, Terra was looking forward to helping Edgar -and Figaro- return to normal. The desert kingdom was her home now, after all, and she wanted nothing more than to see it peaceful and prosperous. However, such plans were to be postponed once again.
Upon reaching the castle rooftop, Terra stared upward curiously at that pink sky. It was neither dawn or sunset, which might otherwise explain such a hue. In fact, it was brightening by the moment. The young woman barely had time to wonder before a bright glow overtook everything else in her vision. She cried out, staggering back and shielding her eyes.
As the light faded abruptly, Terra straightened and slowly opened her eyes once more. Yet, she was no longer standing on the rooftop of the castle. Instead, another familiar sight greeted her startled countenance--Ultimecia's Castle. She was standing on a small balcony overlooking a large open central area with four tall pillars in the corners and a spiral wooden platform with railings. The side of the area had a long alcove lined with gears.
Terra glanced around uneasily. This was hardly a place she would wish to return to of her own free will. "What? Why...?"
