Too much high powered magic going around and Ceodore was beginning to feel it in a bad way. There wasn't time to take advantage of his magic imbued sword and heal everyone else. On a split second's decision, he lunged forward to stab at Lufene, using the blade to drive the magic, so it bypassed her Reflect. Only then did he start charging up round after round of Cura to level at anyone who looked like they really needed it.
