As they headed into the city, Locke wondered how hard it would be to find the creature. He should have realized that would be the easiest part of the confrontation. It was eerily easy to follow the signs of destruction that pinpointed the location of their prey. They just needed to get past the fleeing populace without being stampeded to death. Then he saw it, a creature that could see him no matter which direction he came from. Obviously there would be no ambushing this one.
