Garnet was getting so very tired of curtsying. She was surprised the boning in her corset hadn't puncture her lungs yet. Even so, she continued to return every bow with the appropriate response. This included Irvine's wordless greeting. For whatever reason (perhaps because he was an unfamilliar face) she stopped to ask, "Are you enjoying yourself this evening?
