Although when he heard that she had spoken with his commander, he couldn't help but chuckle again at the thought of people calling Squall that. He nodded and replied, "Yes, I am alone, though my friends should be in the area as well," then added with some concern, "Unless this bothers you, in which I'll tell Squall right away. We just came because it was a party, nothing like a mission."
He was starting to get nervous around a Queen, not good.
