Just while he was finishing with Quistis and Squall, suddenly there was a Queen and Fran there. Fran's words stung quite a bit more than any punch Irvine could've landed and then Penelo added salt to the wound, which couldn't have helped in the slightest. Glaring right back at Penelo, he rolled his eyes. "The next time someone tries to break your face, I do hope you defend yourself. I'll have you know, little girl, that I do not start fights, but I certainly end them."
At that, he didn't even bother to go after Fran. He just followed Irvine out of the exit, ignoring whatever way the cowboy went and simply made for his unnamed airship.
