Characters: Cloud, Tifa and Aerith
Progress: Ongiong
Summary: The heroes go to find their flower girl friend
Location: Alexandria
Date: June, 1803
Warnings: Wibbles galore and... too much epic in one place?
To say he was happy, and excited, was an understatement but Cloud remained as quiet as ever as they headed for the chapel in Alexandria. After the battles that had occured at the ball, he really wasn't ready to let go of Tifa's hand for more than five minutes, so, as expected, his gloved hand was curled tightly around hers.
It wasn't that he didn't think she could defend herself. He knew she could, and would. Cloud was just worried about that clown, Kefka, showing up again and Tifa getting hurt. He couldn't handle her death on top of Zack and Aerith.
Yet, that was where things changed. Zack and Aerith were alive. Sure, Zack was a little out of it these days but they were still best friends. Still brothers. Zack made sure to let him know whenever there was something worth noting and Cloud, although he wouldn't admit it, was constantly checking to see if he'd got any messages from Zack.
When they showed up, he knew he smiled like a little kid.
Still, now they were looking for Aerith, who'd shown up right after all the drama at the palace. Thankfully. Cloud would've been on panic mode if she'd have been in the mess as well. It was bad enough fighting against Kefka while keeping an eye out for Tifa. Add Aerith into the mix and he'd have been a wreck.
A smile was on his face, albeit and small one, as he pushed open the doors to the chapel, feeling a little reminiscant, and Cloud looked around, realising this really wasn't Aerith's church. It was a nice chapel... but it wasn't the one back home. Nothing would be as nice as that.
