Irvine blinked, it was just like how Selphie said it, now he felt silly. A blink came from him when he was told about the Joining. Somehow he felt happy that it was like that, but stupid that he doubted Selphie at all. All that escaped him was an "Oh." As he sighed out of relief.
He did, however, find great offense to being called thick headed and replied, "Whoa, hold on there! I am not thick skulled!" Of course he wasn't, he just felt it could jeopardize a great friendship with Selphie. He shook his head and replied, "Balthier, I appreciate you trying to help me, but, I'm okay when it comes to the ladies. Espically Ms. Tilmitt"
