He had no idea what to say to the boy, all that he could do is wipe the tears from his eyes and simply say, "I'm sorry you had to go through this again..." The cowboy looked out and added, "This place is messing with our minds, we gotta keep moving forward."
He looked at the boy with a simple smile and stated, "But I need you to be strong, or else this place will beat us. I need that from you." He wasn't the type to give fatherly advice, but support he could give. Or at least try.
