Narrowing his eyes and folding his arms a moment, Kain watched Edge warily. He knew that the other wasn't terribly fond of him, and had a right to feel that way. In some respects, the way he acted toward Kain was pretty much how Kain himself thought he deserved to be treated. Yet at the same time, his pride wouldn't entirely allow it. He would just have to put up with this conversation as best he could for now.
There was a long pause, until he grudgingly accepted his hand. "Fortunate for you, there were plenty out there to deal with. I only regret that Cecil isn't here to be part of this."
