There are implied activities!

Shelke wandered her way through the Garden’s hallways, her pace slow and steady, her eyes mostly on the ceiling. She’d memorized the layout for the giant building, and now she was testing herself to see if she could go to wherever from wherever. It wasn’t the most productive activity, but it was something to focus on. Between not being home, and fighting with Cloud, and just…everything…she needed things to focus on.

It didn’t help that she’d been feeling jumpy ever since she woke up. She wanted to go jogging or swimming or…something that would burn off this unexpected energy that was boiling around inside of her. She had done some exercise this morning but it hadn’t really help, not that the wandering was much either.

She paused at the overhang that looked out over the basketball court, watching several of the Gaian Seed Candidates trying to teach themselves the sport. She knew nothing about it, they didn’t have it back home, but the rules at least seemed interesting as they tried to sort them out. Although none of the Gaians were tall enough to really manage much except throwing the ball at the net. Still, she had to give them credit for trying…they managed to get the ball in the net more often than not.

A noise from behind drew her attention away from the game. Was that a squeal? It had certainly sounded like one, though not necessarily one of pain, just one of…something. Still, a squeal was not exactly a normal sound for the Garden. And Shelke was curious.

She drifted back down the hall after the sound, her shoes silent on the garden floor. “Oh!” Another noise, a word, far down the hall, and she turned to follow along. There were a number of things it could be, and she filed them all away in the back of her brain, but she was too curious to just leave it alone.

The noises were becoming more frequent, and she followed them into one of the garden’s empty locker rooms. It was off the beaten path, in general, not used by many people…huh.

The noise was no longer a squeal…if anything, it had devolved into giggling, and the Tsviet was reasonably sure what it was now. Still, she couldn’t help but be surprised when she turned a corner and found two of the Gaian SeeD candidates in various states of undress, sprawled out on one of the exercise mats, making out and…various other activities.

For several moments she just stared, and whether it by luck or their own distraction, the couple didn’t notice her. Once her rational mind kicked back in she immediately tried to turn invisible…and nothing happened. She knew exactly what disappearing felt like and this was a lot of not that.

She tried again, and this time…well, it wasn’t invisibility, but she was out of view of the couple. If only because she had suddenly jumped much, much higher than she should have been able to. In fact, if not for the arbitrarily high ceilings in the garden, she’d probably have just given herself a concussion slamming into the tiles. Luckily, this locker room was one of the rooms with the arching, girder ceiling.

As the arc of her jump swung her near them she reached out and snatched at one of the metal supports. The jolt yanked at every bone in her body…but she still managed to just hang there, thirty-five feet above the floor.

“What was that?”

Far below, the undressed couple had sat up and were looking around. “What was what?” The other asked.

Please do not look up.

“I thought I saw…something. I don’t know.”

“You are not supposed to be looking at anything besides me, you know!”

“Sorry, sorry.”

And then they were making out and…various other activities again. Shelke hung there for several minutes, waiting until she was sure they were involved and…well, perhaps staring a bit…until she finally swung herself off the girder and landed silently right by the door, ducking it into the hallway and taking off back towards her room.
