Characters: Tseng and Rufus
Progress: Ongoing
Summary: The discovery of the Capricorn stone
Location: ShinRa Manor
Date: Today, backdated slightly to around 8 o'clock this morning
Warnings: Violence at the very least
The sun had barely begun to shine on the mansion that was to serve as ShinRa's base of operations, but already, there was trouble. Or more accurately, probably would be trouble. It was one thing to find one's employer attempting to barter for a stone that was reputed to hold a demon inside. It was quite another to find another in employer's possession, and to that end, Tseng was waiting patiently for Rufus to wake up.
It was high time they spoke, and his fingers drummed restlessly on the appropriated stone as he waited. Why did he always seem to end up in unlovely situations?

Date: 2010-10-22 04:55 am (UTC)Over the years he'd gotten more than used to pain. This was something almost beyond it. Something above even what he'd expect of the highest level thunder spells he knew, and to be quite blunt, it hurt. But he wasn't about to let his enemy see that. Instead, he clamped down on the urge to scream, and as soon as he could see through the spots in eyes he leveled his gun at Adrammelech and fired. He'd give no quarter here.

Date: 2010-10-26 08:37 pm (UTC)He wasn't surprised that he hurt. What was surprising was how much it hurt. Perhaps it was a side effect of the spell that had come before. Or perhaps it was simply the natural effect of Holy itself. Either way, the result was the same, as Tseng crumpled to the floor without a word from the sheer onslaught of the pain.
