Characters: Mjrn (Open to Fran and Jote)
Progress: Ongoing
Summary: Mjrn worries about Jote being overdue and goes to search for her.
Location: Alexandria, then somewhere near the Evil Forest
Date: May, 1803
Warnings: TBA
Patience was not something which Mjrn possessed in abundance and too worried to remain in Alexandria, she gathered her traveling supplies. Perhaps Jote had run into trouble along the way; it would be just like her to downplay or outright not mention any difficulties. Given the amount of Mist in the lower elevations, the young Viera felt as though she had every right to worry.
Upon departing the inn, Mjrn hurried along the winding streets. She paid little heed to those around her, other than to move out of their away and quicken her pace. Familiar faces glanced at the driven Viera curiously, but she didn't have time to explain the change from her usual wandering pace.
It was near the city limits when she overheard a traveler speak of someone with 'rabbit ears' on their way to the city. Whirling around, Mjrn paused them. "You saw a woman with ears such as these? Where?"
The traveler and his companion glanced at each other before he nodded slowly and spoke up. "We were on our way from Treno. It was near that forest...."
"The Evil Forest?" Mjrn hoped she was wrong, but the man nodded.
"I didn't see her go in, but...she didn't look too good."
Mjrn bowed her head, sighing. "No, she would not. The mist....thank you." Without further explanation, she turned away once more and quickened her pace. Once more, the city went unnoticed; only her goal was important. Within moments, she reached the city limits, intent on reaching the stated area before something worse happened to Jote.

Jote always had a way of brushing off kindness, but those who knew her would be able to tell that she really did appreciate this sort of thing... She just didn't always know how to show it, nor was she often able to, considering her life in the Wood.
