Characters: Penelo and Vaan
Progress: In progress
Summary: Penelo seeks out Vaan in Treno.
Location: Treno
Date: May 24, 1803
Warnings: none yet
Penelo had stood on the deck of the arriving airship, watching the skies with surprise. They were turning unseasonably dark, quickly slipping into night, even though the hour was only midday. The phenomenon was unlike anything she'd ever seen before. A little smile touched her lips. I bet Vaan will love this. By the time the craft had touched down, her excitement was nearly tangible. She had truly missed Vaan, possibly more than anyone else she had from home. He was her family, her lifeline, her partner... even if sky piracy wasn't exactly her career of choice.
Only part of her zeal to get to him lay in concern. If learning that Reks was here and alive was stressful for her, she could only imagine how Vaan was taking it. And the fact he was facing it alone made her quite sad. So, the moment she could disembark, her slippered feet rushed down the ramp, while she scanned the crowds for that familiar blonde head in the sea of people. The endless night made it quite the task.

Date: 2009-09-27 03:04 am (UTC)"Vaan!" Penelo raced forward, arms outstretched to hug him. She needed to know that he was really, truly here. Even if it meant she was going to give up everything she'd worked for to follow him around again, she needed him. She counted on him in so many ways.
