Summary: Galbadia Garden makes its way north, picking up refugees along the way. In other words, Eiko and Golbez get rescued!

After a very shaky start, Rinoa had successfully managed to get Galbadia Garden moving - with a lot of help from Nida, Cloud and Tidus. They had made slow progress north, picking up those who had been scattered to this continent. But with a world map in hand and the boys in the driving seat, Rinoa led them to Jidoor, where Eiko was waiting.

Regent Cid had asked them personally to rescue Eiko. Once the little girl was onboard, they would finally be able to leave this continent.

Rinoa ran down the steps and out of the Garden entrance. People were already queuing up to go inside. Garden would take them all home. Smiling, Rinoa looked around for Eiko's distinctive blue hair... She considered the girl a friend, and she would be glad to meet her.

Rydia followed Rinoa, striding quickly away from the Garden. Eiko had been her first concern since the incident which scattered everyone. To know that she was in Theodor's company was a relief, but she still wanted to see the girl for herself. At least it wouldn't be hard to find either of them. Eiko's hair and horn, along with Theodor's own bright hair and distinctive physique ought to make it easy.

She peered at the city next to the Garden, curious about the place ever since Locke had described it to her earlier. There was no time for a tour, of course, but that didn't mean she couldn't take in what she could while they searched for her friends. "Eiko? Theodor?"

For a few days now, Eiko had directly disobeyed her father's request that she stay put and roamed around Jidoor. She'd been bored. And anxiously awaiting her ride home. Not that she was eager to get back to her dumb tutors, but she had really missed her family and her other moogles.

So when crowds started heaving toward one point in the city, she realized quickly that her rescue had arrived. Not to be outdone by adults, she shoved her way around the bodies. "Move it! Lady coming through!" In no time at all, she was closing in on the big metallic building, with a horde of traveling moogles tailing her.

"There you are!" Rinoa couldn't miss the crowd of moogles surrounding the little girl. She waved before running up to Eiko to give her a welcoming hug. "Are you okay?"

"Finally!" Rydia's hug was soon to follow and she smiled brightly, thrilled to see Eiko again. "I'm sorry you had to wait here for so long, but at least now we can get going!" Straightening, she glanced around. "Where's Theodor?"

Locke was happy to see the little kid. She reminded him of Relm in many ways. He laughed as he watched her unceremoniuosly barge her way to the front. As Eiko came near he joked, "Lady? Where is she?"

The little girl was just as happy to see her friends as they were her, and she didn't mind sharing hugs with all of them. She considered herself just as grown up as they, after all. "I'm fine," she told them, before answering Rydia's question.

"Not sure, he's probably in there somewhere." Like she could be responsible for where a grown up went. As for Locke's joke? It netted him Eiko imitating her mother's hands-on-hips action. "Right here."

"Good!" Rinoa grinned at Locke's joke. "I've gotta run up to the bridge and tell them to start moving, okay? So you'd better get inside. But I'll give you the grand tour later!"

She winked at Eiko before dashing off. Time to go!

Rydia peered around once more, a little disappointed at not spotting Theodor immediately. Eiko had to be right, though, and she smiled for the young girl's sake. She glanced to Rinoa dashing off, then beckoned for the young Summoner to follow. There was a slight headshake at Locke, a signal not to tease Eiko too much.

"I'll catch up with him later, then. Follow us! I can't give a tour the way Rinoa can, but we can get you situated."

Retreating back into the ship with all the ladies, but still smiling despite the chatisement.

"I'm still surprised by how big this place is."

Eiko was more than happy to follow along, but she dawdled in doing it. This building was huge! And it flew too? This was as incredible to her as the Invincible. "It's bigger than Alexander..." High praise indeed to be compared to Alexandria's guardian eidolon.

Rydia glanced over at mention of Alexander, still curious about that Eidolon but not wanting to automatically exclude Locke by discussing him with Eiko right now. She paused in the central lobby. "It's bigger than many of the buildings I've known, too. I've gotten lost in it a few times already, but I should be over that, now. Hm. We could show you the dorms first. If you're not tired now, at least you'll know where to crash later."

Locke was just glad that everybody was safe aboard the garden.

"They aren't as big as the rooms in the castle, but it's better than being stuffed four to a room."
