Terra seemed a bit startled by this sudden command, though she moved to follow the clanking man off the ship. She wasn't as fast as him, not for lack of speed but simply because she was curious about everything and looking around at everything else.

When they reached the library itself she pretty much came to a stop just inside, her eyes wide as she turned in a circle to take in everything.

"It's huge." She said softly, whether Steiner was listening or not.

"We should not waste time searching for them," Steiner said. He had seen Daguerreo before and although it was indeed a fascinating place, he had no time for libraries right then. "Let them come to us."

He quickly texted Blank. The message was short: The Red Rose has arrived. Make haste.

"Can you contact your friend?" Steiner asked.

Not being one to let much of anything catch her off-guard, Celes had been keeping a close eye on the area outside the library for any sign of passing ships, or whatever flying airships might be passing by. She had no idea what the Red Rose would look like, but still she periodically scoured the skyline for anything that could be considered an airship.

It was on one such trip that she heard the voices at the entrance. One was unfamiliar, but the other was very, very familiar. Heart skipping a few beats in anticipation, she hurried through the hallways and out into the main entrance.

"There's no need," she called out, upon hearing Steiner's question to Terra. "I'm right here."

Ever cautious, she slowed down as she approached, as ready as ever should this prove to be some kind of hoax. She desperately hoped it wasn't, but hopes didn't mean she could let her guard down.

"Can we not spare any time at all? I would love to look around some..." Still, Terra was tugging out her phone despite her outward comment, and preparing to call Celes when the other suddenly called out to them.

The green haired girl smiled brightly as her friend approached, and when she was close enough, promptly reached out to hug her. It was a bit of an odd gesture from Terra, but...well, she had been worried. And hugging seemed to be the normal way to express that, yes? So...she was trying.

Steiner recognised Celes, although he didn't know her personally.

"Ah, you must be Celes," he said. "You are a friend of General Beatrix, is that right? Then it is an honour to meet you."

He bowed his head in greeting. This was about as close as Steiner got to being gallant.

Celes was about to answer Steiner's question when she suddenly found herself being hugged. Surprise registered on her face for a moment before she hesitantly returned the gesture. If Terra wasn't used to this sort of thing, neither was Celes, but it felt good anyway, comforting in a way. Celes had also been worried about her friend and this just seemed to be a good way to reconnect after something so strenuous.

Once they pulled away again, Celes offered Terra a small smile before turning to Steiner and nodding. "We are well acquainted. I aid her knights-" Or whatever they called the army here. "-when I am in Alexandria.

"I must thank you both for coming to find us. I'm not certain where Blank is, but he can't have gone far."

Terra smiled faintly in embarrassment at Celes smile, then turned to Steiner, taking a couple steps back from her friend. "If he is not here, we may just have to look for him." She said, and there was an almost amused smile on her face. Because she really wanted a chance to look around the library, and having to hunt for their missing passenger would certainly provided a chance to do so.

"You must be a formidable knight yourself to impress Beatrix," Steiner replied. This was entirely sincere; he wasn't exaggerating to compliment her or anything like that. Lying to impress the ladies was more Zidane's forte.

Steiner turned to Terra. "He should be here. I sent him a message."

Yes, he was slightly worried. But then it would be just like Blank to turn up late.

"We could look for him," Celes agreed, shifting uncomfortably at Steiner's words. Whether that was from uncertainty as to how to accept such praise or a remembrance of days gone by when such words as "formidable knight" meant she was someone to be feared, she wasn't sure.

"Someone should stay at the entrance, though, in case he turns up after we've gone in."

"Well, Steiner doesn't wish to explode, so he can wait for Blank, right?" Terra actually grinned at her statement, seemingly managing to find the humor in it before she turned and headed off into the library. She wasn't exactly 'searching' very well, if only because she kept getting distracted by all the books!

Steiner had no idea what Terra meant by 'explode', but he nodded. "I will stay. Do not be long!"

He stationed himself at the library entrance rather like a guard, waiting.

Blank had only just received the text message, and as soon as he had he got up and began to jog in the direction he was sure it would be in. He was carrying some very old books under his arm, most prepared to take them home with him.

"He~ey! Rusty!!!" He called out, grinning as he ran up to Steiner. "Hey! Hope you're not planning on leaving without me. I have to get back to my lady, ya know!" Of course, by lady, he meant his beloved Prima Vista.

Celes nodded at Terra's reply and headed off with her, showing the other girl the various places she'd been exploring while trapped there for so long. "This place is so large, I keep forgetting exactly where I am within it. Every time I turn around, there's something new to see or do."

Steiner's face broke into a smile when Blank ran up to him. He did genuinely like the thief.

"Blank! Good to see that you are as well as ever."

Being pleased to see Blank, however, did not stop Steiner from immediately frowning when he noticed the books Blank carried.

"I hope you obtained permission to borrow those books!" Unlikely, he knew.

"I think I am a little jealous," Terra said to Celes with a faint smile as the General showed her around. "I woke up in Mysidia, and just had to walk back to Alexandria. It was easy, but..." A little shrug of her shoulders as she stopped to peer at a book. "It wasn't as exciting as what everyone else seems to have done."

Terra didn't begrudge their excitement, but a bit of her own might've been nice...

Blank gave Steiner a sheepish grin, his arm instinctively tightening around the books. "Of course! I wouldn't just take them without asking, what kinda guy do you think I am?" A thief, of course. And once a thief, always a thief.

"Besides, it's not like anyone else was using them... they were just sat there collecting dust," he stated, passing by the knight "So, when we leaving?"

"Hmph!" Steiner didn't believe him for a second, but there wasn't much use arguing.

"Wait a moment!" he said, as Blank seemed about to pass by. "Terra and Celes are somewhere in the library, searching for you. We must wait for them. Did you not pass them on your way?"

Celes glanced at Terra. She would gladly have traded any number of "exciting events" that had happened in her lifetime. "Next time something exciting happens, I'll be sure to drag you with me," she offered, in the closest thing that she'd come to joking in a long, long time.

"Not like waking up in a library is all that adventurous." Wrought with knowledge, yes, but not adventure.
