Summary: The events of Memoria have closed, Irvine has a shiny weapon, both brunettes have horrible trauma. Sounds like Doctor Love is needed!

The SeeD returned to the Garden all depressed and downed, with his newly acquired bow around his shoulder. The whole thing left a lasting dent into his mind and body. He was shaken to the core, but he knew of someone else who needed him more than he needed her. Selphie. Quickly Irvine ran around the Garden looking around for her seeing if she was in any of the places she would be.

Of course it didn't help that he got lost a few times in the Garden as well. Least he was determined to find her.

After a few tries, there was one place Irvine never did check. Her room. He knew all the little shortcuts to the girl's dorm, so almost instantly he was there looking for Selphie's room.

When he found the door, he was about to knock on it before freezing in pause, almost statuesque. What was he going to say to her? What was he gonna do? Both of them probably faced their worse fears and their hearts broken, at least this is what Irvine thought. Finally he gently knocked on the door just to see if she was there and called out softly, "Selphie? You in there?" It was a start, hopefully she heard it.

He wasn't expecting the hug so soon, then again, he wasn't complaining. The minute he felt her embrace, Irvine hugged her back and replied, "I couldn't wait either." He didn't move from this pose, he didn't want anything to ruin this moment, he was happy just being there, with her feeling her touch and her breath.

Finally after a while, the cowboy pulled back and asked with a little smile, "Are you okay?"

Irvine did a little twirl around Selphie then stared down at those wide eyes, hypnotizing him deep into her and stated with a smile, "I'm fine, more fine now that I'm here with you." He didn't get hurt physically in that place, emotionally and mentally sure he was bleeding and bruised, but on the outside he was spic and span.

The cowboy looked away for a moment and stated, "Selphie...you sure everything is okay?" Looking back he added, "I know you were crying when we last spoke, you sure nothing hurt you or anything?" He was concerned about her, just like a friend would be...a boyfriend if you will.

A lie, he could tell she was denying or hiding something. But rather than prod her more he simply nodded and replied, "I know, hell I know you're stronger than me, that much is certain." He grinned at her and added, "But you know if something did bother you or hurt you, you know you could tell me right? I mean I don't want anything bad to happen to you, I care for you way too much for that to happen."

The cowboy sighed, after all he was still in shock from what had happened to him, but he got what was off his chest. He had a feeling, that Selphie needed to let go what was on hers. He just waited, looking at her as he said, "I'll always be here with you Selphie, if you ever need me," then hugged her again kissing her on the cheek.

A sigh came from him as he replied, "If I could turn back time, I would just to see you happy. I know that it must have been hard for you, I-" He couldn't think of what to say. He could say that he went through the same thing, but he hasn't, losing everyone he every knew in the blink of an eye was something he couldn't even begin to relate to.

All he did was just hold her and added, "I'm sorry you had to go through all that."

The cowboy recalled the horrible event again and kissed the top of Selphie's head. "I just had a really bad experience, like my worse fears were being brought up right in front of me, and I was helpless to stop it," stated the cowboy. He really felt awkward thinking about it, and quite frankly he didn't feel like talking to it about her, just because it was a horrific sight.

A small chuckle escaped his mouth as he added softly holding her close to him, "But I'm okay now."

Irvine stepped back and stated, "He-Hey! Put those things away!" He slowly moved back further into her room. Then the cowboy fell on the ground back first, knocking his hat off his head,

The cowboy rubbed the back of his head and replied, "I'm alright, just scared of being tickled." Not that he didn't mind it, just Selphie was not going to stop until he was gasping for air.

Great now he was on the floor, girl on top of him tickling him. If he wasn't laughing so hard by this, he'd totally find this hot. Irvine glared at the girl tickling him and managed to spit out between laughs, "Okay, so you wanna play like that, huh!?" He managed to pull Selphie down and get on top of her.

His hand were ready as a dark smirk came across his face. Then the tickling began, finding the best place to torture her for her crime.

Yea, he was laughing too with those fingers to his sides as he stated, "What? You don't like it when I do that with my fingers!" Of course he didn't realize how loud he was when he said that as he continued to tickle the girl. He was laughing heavily and starting to lose his breath.

I think the both of them really needed this.

Quistis had been on her way towards Selphie's room to ask if the girl would be interesting in a training session when she heard the shrieks coming from the specific direction. Her slow walk now breaking out into a jog, Quistis got to the door in no time, forgetting to knock in the midst of her worry. Entering the override code for the door, she burst in as soon as the metal slid open, but was far too shocked to continue inside any further at the scene before her.

"Irvine, get off of her!"

Anger surged through her body as she moved to grab the cowboy's shoulders, pulling him off the poor girl.

They were both having a good time. Then the hand grabbed him and pulled him away. The cowboy looked up and saw a very unhappy Quistis, as he leaped to his feet and replied, "Qu-Quistis! Hey! How's it going!" He looked around the room and raised his hands up stating, "N-Now Quistis, this isn't what it looks like, I mean, well you see...Selphie jumped on me then started touching me all over when I fell to the ground. So I rolled on top of her and started touching her." He didn't think how bad that sounded, until he replayed it in his head.

"Wait, let me try that again."

Her eyes seemed to narrow more and more with each word Irvine spoke, until they were nearly slits. A hand pressed firmly to his chest, she pushed him further away from Selphie, ignoring the smaller female's words- she was too angry at the cowboy to hear anything else.

"I'm going to give you five seconds to properly explain, or else I swear to Hyne you're going to wish you never touched her."

Irvine leaned over to Selphie and whispered, "You're not helping the situation, Selph." He looked back the very angry blond and explained, "Look, me and Selphie were feeling down so we hugged then Selphie got into a tickling fight and I fought back. Nothing happened, no make out sessions, nothing, just playing around...the clean way!" The cowboy put his hand to his heart and added, "I swear to Hyne, I didn't do anything to her."

Not that he didn't want to anyways, I mean thinking back on the positions they were in...But he was in trouble so he didn't think about it for too long.

Quistis finally took a step back when Selphie managed to wiggle between herself and Irvine, forcing them apart. A pause followed as she took a moment to take in both their explanations, and once their words sank in a slightly mortified expression bloomed on her face.

"Right. Well..."

A sigh. This was awkward.

"Just... keep it down, alright? I could hear you both from all the way down the hall. You don't want people getting the wrong idea."

Where the awkward feeling was present, Irvine just out right laughed out a little bit. He couldn't help it, the situation was funny. He stopped laughing before stating, "Sorry, sorry, I didn't mean to laugh at you Quistis, it's just the everything that happened just seems a little bit funny." A relaxed sigh came from him as he smiled at the blond and added, "I know you were just making sure no rough housing was going on around in here, so I'm sorry about that."

The whole ordeal was quite funny, but he felt he needed to apologize for the noise. Even though he wasn't the one who started it.

Quistis really didn't find the situation to be funny at all. Crossing her arms, she simply stood as she watched Irvine continue to laugh. After it finally died off, she pinched the bridge of her nose, trying to refocus on the reason on why she had even come.

"I was going to see if you wanted to go training, but I can see that you're both preoccupied. I'll leave you both alone now-- just... don't do anything stupid."

He chuckled at the little snort that Selphie did and replied, "I don't think so, I mean what could we do that is so stupid?" He looked at Quistis with a contemplative look. He was teasing the blond a little bit as he asked, "I mean what do you mean by stupid Quitsis?"

Deep down, Irvine was doing this because she blamed him for doing something irrational.

Quistis gave Irvine a pointed look- she really didn't want to elaborate on the matter.

"'Stupid' as in anything that will get you two into trouble."

It was something Irvine really wasn't thinking about, he was having way too much fun tickling and laughing. Then Selphie jerked his head back into what happened, as his emotion faded to a serious and saddened tone.

He shook his head and looked at Quistis with a soft smile and replied sincerely, "I'm sorry, we'll be sure to keep it down." With that he went over to pick up his hat from the floor.

Quistis noticed the change in Irvine's demeanor immediately, and a wave of guilt washed over her.

"No, I'm sorry for jumping to conclusions." She sighed, a hand lifting to tuck a couple of stray locks behind her ear. "I guess I'm just a little wound up from the whole Memoria thing. You guys keep having fun, don't let me ruin it. Selphie, let me know when you're free-- and Irvine, you're more than welcomed to join."

With a small smile, she gave them a slight wave of her hand before turning to leave the room.

Adjusting his hat he looked at the teacher and added, "No, it's alright, you were just looking out for Selphie, I understand." A heavy sigh came out as he stated in terms of Quistis's invite, "Thanks but I think I just need some time to think...after all, seeing your worse nightmare come into light kinda makes you be uneasy.

When the brunette stated for her companion not to leave, he felt implied to hug Selphie from behind rest his forehead on her head. He knew she was shaken more than him...or maybe it was vice versa, at this point he really didn't know.

Quistis paused at the door when she heard Selphie call after her. Turning slightly, the blond gave the pair a warm smile and a small shake of her head; she didn't want to intrude in their time together, and honestly she would have felt a bit out of place.

"Don't worry about me. I think I'm going to go into town for a little bit-- contact me if you need anything, alright?"

Another wave, and she made it out the door before either of them could protest. Maybe some fresh air would do her some good.

He felt saddened, almost like he forced Quistis out of the room. Things went through his head as Selphie hugged him. However he snapped back into reality with Selphie's statement. He blinked for a moment and leaned in on the young brunette with a smirk on his face.

"Come now, Ms. Tilmitt, you and I both know I like to play a little hard to get sometimes. Makes you want me a little bit more," stated the cowboy, as he leaned over and kissed her neck ever so lightly. He was ready to lose control being that close to her smell and her touch. But he managed to pull back and look at her and asked, "So what should we do now?" It sounded cool in his head, but the first few words were a little choked up.

Well that was a dangerous question. Irvine looked up towards the ceiling and stated, "Oh I have ideas, that we could both do that I would find fun, but I don't know about you." He was getting back to his regular self, his flirtacious regular self. A smirk came up as he asked, "I mean after all Selphie, I just want whatever is best for you." He walked closed to her, hands on her hips and stared down saying very smoothly and softly into her ear, "So, what do you think we should do?"

"Well then if it's my choice then, allow me to show you want I want," stated the cowboy as he brushed aside a strand of hair from her face. He leaned over and gently pressed his lips on hers as he pulled her closer to him. This time he was taking the assertive, and he was not willing to let go of her.

He suddenly broke the kiss off as he added, "I always did hate running circles."

Irvine smirked at the blinking girl in front of him and asked, "Why Selphie, have I gotten you speechless?" He leaned in again, give her small kisses on her lips, slowly moving to her cheek, then her neck.

He stopped mid-way down her neck and asked, "Just tell me to stop and I will...I mean after all I want you to enjoy yourself too."

When Irvine was pulled down to kiss the girl again, he did not fight back, why would he, honestly? He smirked at her little quip and stated with a smile, "Well then, perhaps the two of us need to get comfortable then?"

With that he took her hand tugging her towards the bed as he sat down on the edge. He gently kissed her hand and stated, "I'm yours to do with my dear."

Having a girl on top of him as while on her bed? And she was asking if he was comfy? The cowboy chuckled and replied, "Naturally." He pulled her down him and started to kiss her again, slowly moving down her neck and shoulders as well.

If anyone interrupted now, Irvine would have to follow his, "Shoot now, ask later" policy. He was that serious.
