Characters: Selphie and Balthier
Progress: Ongoing
Summary: The married couple need to catch up!
Location: Just outside Wutai
Date: February, 1804
Warnings: Wibbles? Airship envy - "Mine's bigger!" "Well, mine's shinier!" "Mine is faster!"
Parking the Strahl conveniently near to Galbadia Garden, Balthier sighed heavily. The noise aboard the craft was beginning to irk him, and even that intriguing weapon he'd found in Memoria wasn't interesting enough to take his mind off how noisy everyone was.
Sighing in annoyance, he neatened his shirt and tugged on leather gloves before exiting the Strahl, leaning against her hull as he pulled out his sky phone, tapping a small message out to his 'wife'.
Come outside. Your husband wants to see you.
It was enough to get her to see him and likely enough to make her playfully irritated about their supposed marriage. Not that they ever took it seriously. If anyone said one day that they were all legitimate marriages he'd damn near have a heart attack. Balthier adored Selphie, could likely have a relationship with her were there no obstacles, but the idea of marriage turned his stomach. No thank you, he was happy with being very single right now. Well... he wasn't happy about being dumped but at least he didn't feel confined.

Date: 2010-02-09 02:11 pm (UTC)The airship she was aboard was nice. Of course, he'd never prefer it over the Strahl, yet everyone had their favourites. The Strahl had been his escape from a bad life. She'd always be his salvation.
"It's a fine ship you have here." He smiled as he cast his gaze over it. He'd seen it briefly on the network but it was definitely nicer close up.
