Cecil's departure had very nearly set Rosa's world upside down. In fact, she had come to wonder how she was still upright. Rydia's arrival had been a blessing, as the summoner had practically forced her to sleep and even though she'd slept fitfully, at least she'd rested some. Something was always better than nothing.

She'd done what she could for the people of Troia, following Vayne's strategical suggestions thoroughly. Once reinforcements had arrived, the pirates had been conquered and Rosa could now rest easily. As soon as she had finished patching up those who had been injured in the subsequent battles and made sure the citizens were all right still, Rosa knew she needed to thank those who had come to her aid. Without them, she and the town of Troia would have been overrun in a matter of minutes.

So, she'd issued an order for everyone to either meet in the middle of the town or to allow her to find them. With any luck at all, those who had assisted her would allow her this one final request.

Rydia nodded, though still felt guilty about the idea of leaving. She had barely returned to Troia, after all. It was starting to feel as though the world was conspiring to keep her away.

"Maybe she knows something that will help us...or it could be a warning about what's to come. Either way, I don't think I can afford to ignore the summons. But still, I'll be back as soon as I can. You'll see me again soon enough."

"I could never ask you to ignore something like that," Rosa replied quickly. "I understand they're important to you." And to the rest of the world. To ask something like that of Rydia was out of the question.

"I know I will." The White Mage smiled and reached out to give Rydia another hug. "Just be careful while you're gone. Maybe someday I can come with you." She didn't particularly miss traveling all the time, but she did miss being with her friends all the time. Traveling a little bit would take a little pressure off her and take her mind off Cecil's disappearance.

Rydia returned the embrace warmly, smiling at Rosa's suggestion. "I would love it when you can, but I promise not to be too impatient until that time. And yes, I'll be careful. I have no interest in being reckless." After dying and reviving at the Iifa Tree, Rydia had no interest in going through that again. She promised not to put any more strain on Rosa than the woman was already experiencing.

"I'm glad to hear that." Rosa smiled in return, glancing around before her gaze lingered on the balcony in front of her window. It was off in the distance, but she longed to have a little time to herself after this. Still, there was work to be done and so she wrenched her gaze back and smiled at Rydia again.

"Maybe Lord Vayne would be able to watch Troia for me sometime so I could accompany you later on." It would certainly give her the opportunity to get out and about. Cabin Fever was a terrible thing. Rosa didn't normally suffer from it, but lately she'd been feeling cramped and it probably had to do with the pirates and losing Cecil. Maybe a little exploring would help that.

"That would be generous of him, but I bet he would consider, if asked...." Rydia felt slightly uneasy about the idea. It wasn't Vayne's fault; he had been nothing but generous, to them. Still, the thought of leaving someone not from Earth in charge of Troia grated at her.

But Rosa really did deserve a break, especially after all this. Rydia couldn't deny it and she definitely wouldn't squash down Rosa's suggestion. Besides, it wasn't as though they were likely to be gone for long, anyway. "Troia will calm down from all this and when it does, we'll manage something; Vayne or no Vayne."

Rosa nodded in response, noticing that something was making Rydia a little tense, and she decided to press that later on. Now was not the time.

"Our first duty is to see Troia through this," she agreed, glancing around at the crowd. "I think it's starting to calm down." Which meant they might be able to rest soon. "Are you feeling all right, still?" If not, Rosa had a few more casts left.
