Well, this was fun. Not. Rinoa was starting to dread every time they reached a setting she recognised. So it was with a sinking feeling that she stepped into the beach by the old orphanage. The lighthouse stood tall above the rocks, and the ocean waves broke along the sand. It was a peaceful, wistful place. The place she had promised to meet Squall...
Why was she here? She was here... to meet him. The sorceress had anticipated their actions; she smiled as the SeeDs came running, weapons at the ready.
"Rinoa! No!"
"SeeD," she jeered at them. "Come to pierce the heart of the sorceress?"
They tried, but not hard enough; their hearts weren't in it. She felled them one by one, and last she left the one in black, the one who looked at her differently from the rest.
"Rinoa, you're not like this! Remember, we promised, I'm your knight!"
"No more," she said. "You can't win. I am a descendant of Hyne."

"Will that stop her visions?" Vayne asked of Zidane. If so, would it cease those of their own also? "Have you any reason why I can see beyond the setting?"

"No," she gasped. "That wasn't me, I would never - never..." She looked at Zidane desperately. "They can't be real - the last vision I had and this one can't both be true. I'm not like that." She was looking between them both almost pleadingly now. "Whatever you saw... I'm not like that."
