Summary: Mateus wakes up in an unknown location and ends up tormenting a moogle.

Opening his eyes, it took a moment for Mateus to realize he was no longer within the void. For one, this place felt different and he doubted there was any place even there which looked like this. Second, there was some sort of creature hoovering before a table not too far from where he currently lay.

Upon noting he was awake now, the white furball fluttered over to him from the table holding onto some sort of device. Taking the device when it was obviously offered to him, he eyed the creature anew as it began to speak, informing him as to just what it was he now held as well as just where he currently was and how it believed he had been brought here. As it's explanation died off, he reached out with one hand to take hold of the thing which bobbed over its head.

Turning it around using his grip on the fuzzy ball attached to the creature's head he looked at the small wings which graced it's back. "Just what are you?" He asked, his free hand taking hold of one of the little wings despite the way the thing was now squirming in his grip. It didn't take long though for the incessant cries of 'Let go!' to get on his nerves and with how the struggles of the thing were getting more excessive the longer he held it, he finally let go of the creature and watched as it made a rather hasty exit from the tower without another word to him.

He would find out later just what it was he was certain, for now however he turned his attention to the table the thing had been hovering beside and discovered a few other items no doubt left there by it. Picking up the paper pamphlet, he settled into a chair nearby to see what he could find out from the simplistic document.
