Rughadjeen sat at the bar stool, where ever he went he took the algol with him, it was a special blade that he wouldn't leave behind. Right now it was resting against the counter beside him within quick and easy reach. But fighting was not on the paladin's mind this night. Right now he was sat in some kind of tavern staring at the mug in front of him. As if the contents would form into some kind of monster and jump out at him. He chose some kind of ale and it was something he had never touched before. Back in the Empire it had been forbidden for anyone in the army to touch alcohol and Rughadjeen had joined the army at a young age.

So to get this far was an achievement and he hadn't come out alone, he'd brought Gadalar with him. Taking a deep breath, the Elvaan took the mug by the handle and brought it to his lips. Taking a sip he wrinkled his nose and looked at the amber liquid. It tasted bitter and smelled bad but he would finish it and so that's what he did. He sat there, holding the mug and drank it, gulping down all of the ale until it was finished. Slamming the mug down he panted, wiping his mouth and again wrinkled his nose.

"Tastes foul."

Summary: Future-dated! plant crisis averted, the pair hit the inn for a decent sleep. Or rather, Rughadjeen does. Gadalar sneaks out and gets ~~revenge~~ Rughadjeen's skyphone back, leaving a not-very-happy skyserpent in his wake.

Warnings: ...Entrails. Elvaan and their inability to fit into Hume-sized beds. Awkwardness. Gadalar possibly gets a slap for escaping, too. Mods: Gadalar doesn't have tags yet. :3
