This place was so strange to Cissnei. She liked the beach, no doubt, but this... even in civilian clothing (a chunky knit black sweater over a white tank top, skinny jeans and combat boots) she stuck out from the crowd, something she wasn't exactly used to.She noticed the women were rather gratuitous in showing skin and had more than enough laces and ribbons criss-crossing their chests and the sides of their legs. In her messenger back was trusty Rekka, leftovers from the food she bought from Wutai and something that maybe Zack would be vaguely interested in.

She flipped open her Sky Phone and dialed Zack. He shouldn't be very hard to spot, but she'd like to know where exactly he was.

"Yeah, I'll be fine," she answered, arms still crossed as she walked next to him. "I'm... sorry again for my actions." Cissnei really didn't want to leave on such a strange note about her behavior.

"Nah," he said, crossing his arms behind his head. "Don't worry about it. I've already forgotten what the problem was." If one thing could be said about Zack, it was that he bounced back incredibly quickly.

She shook her head while smiling.

"I need you to promise me that you won't do anything stupid," she said suddenly and very seriously. That's the whole reason she stopped by in the first place anyway. Sephiroth was here and she knew just exactly how Zack felt about that, even if he hadn't told her anything.

That was odd. "Of course not," he answered quickly, used to defending himself and saying he'd stay out of trouble. And really, he tried to, but if trouble found him...

Fine, fresh, fierce, etc. etc.

"I mean it, Zack. Don't go running after something because you got the impulse to do it."

She couldn't bear to know that she'd lose him twice, even if one of those hasn't happened in her time yet.

He bowed his head and was silent for a few moments. "I've caused a lot of pain doin' that, huh." Zack stopped to look at her. "But I can't stay on the sidelines if I can help someone. So...I'll try to keep my hide out of the fire."

"Good. If not you'll be dealing with me." That comment sounded like a joke, but underneath she was being very serious. If Zack pulled some kind of stunt, she'd hit the ground running after him and he knows very well what it means to have a Turk as a pursuer.

He got the seriousness under the joke, as he often did when it came to the Turks. "I'll be on my best behavior, then, just for you." He seriously hoped nothing would come up that would make him test her.

"You're catching on, little tin SOLDIER. I'm impressed." Like Zack, she too hoped that nothing would happen that she would actually have to go through with her warning. Cissnei wasn't one to turn back on her word, be it good or bad.

"Amazing how that happens, innit?" But only a tin SOLDIER? Harsh. He was made of tougher stuff than that.

She laughed at his accent being in full swing today. "Can't take the country out of you, can they?"

He had noticed how his accent gave away his mood before, but he never tried to do it, it just...happened. If he was happy and relaxed, he sounded like the country boy he always was. But if he was serious, it tended to disappear except for a subtle twang here and there. "They tried. It was messy."

It was endearing, truth be told. She'd never heard anyone with such a thick accent but it suited him. "I imagine it was. Like I said, you're not one to listen often."

"I just listen when I feel it's best." Zack was always very self-driven and if he thought he or a friend wouldn't benefit from something, then he wouldn't do it. Simple way to look at life.

"It's not a bad way to live. Reckless, but not bad." Cissnei, unlike Zack, thought too much. She was too methodical practical to let silly things like intuition or the heart make all the decisions. She was a little jealous that he could do that, but she would never admit it. Order and structure was the best way to get in and out of this life.

He chuckled. "Reckless, right." For the next few minutes he walked in silence, still grateful for Cissnei's company. Then they got to the front steps of his house and he dug around in his pocket for the key.

She looked off and away as she crossed her arms and waited for Zack. Silence still and yet she didn't mind. Cissnei realized that the smell of chocolate was gone. As suddenly it came it went but she wasn't going to question it or pretend to understand it. For everyone involved, it was better not to think about it.

The door was opened quickly enough and he held it open for Cissnei. "I know you said you have to get back soon, but I won't rush you out, so...take your time."

Cissnei stepped inside and took Rekka from the table. "Keep the food," she told Zack. She would put it away for him, but she wasn't sure as to how exactly he had things organized, nor did she want to receive that kind of shock. She put it into her bag, one of the points sticking out and gleaming in the light.

"Do you know how to press flowers?" she asked him. She used to do it enough when she was younger to annoy and anger the older girls that she could probably do it now with her eyes closed.
