Characters: Cissnei, Reno
Progress: Ongoing
Summary: Cissnei arrives in Lindblum once more
Location: Lindblum airship docks
Date: A day after this post
Warnings: Fluff, cussing, melodrama the usual

With still a fuzzy memory and an outfit fit for a show, Cissnei made her way from Troia to Lindblum on an airship. She racked her brain all she could but still she couldn't get anything else from her mind besides the gut feelings and the fleeting visions of deserts and fiends. This was frustrating the Turk but she felt a little better knowing that she wasn't the only one who had gone through this before.

She got off the ship, head held high and trying her absolute best not to look embarrassed. She got used to it, true, but she wasn't used to walking around in nothing but a bra below a jacket and white skin-tight pants. At least it covered more than a swimsuit like Reno said.

A low whistle off to her right would indicate where Reno was. A snarky little grin was on his lips, but his arms were loaded with carefully folded clothing - undergarments found and tucked between the layers so they wouldn't be seen. "Hey gorgeous!" he called, sauntering up to her and offering the much-wanted clothing. "Didn't get a chance to ditch the outfit, huh? Glad I got to see it in person. Photos don't do it justice. Video doesn't do it justice! You're hot, Ciss!" Teasing? Yes. Though honest enough.

"Not coming off? Ugh. A teenage-boy's worst nightmare," he grumbled, rubbing the spot on his stomach she'd rapped him at. "And what's a 'dress sphere'?" He looked at the girl curiously, finger tracing along the edge of the fabric that circled around the back of her neck.

"It looks so normal, though. You sure it's not coming off? Is there anyone you can ask that might know how to get it off you? I'm good with normal clothes. Not these dress-sphere things." He flashed a wicked grin then - best to keep the conversation light. Worrying too much only made things worse.

He listened. He really did. But it made absolutely no sense to him. He didn't know what a dress-sphere was. He didn't know why Cissnei couldn't change her clothes. But ... "Well... it sounds to me like you need to talk to this Yuna girl. If she knows how to remove this dress-sphere thingie, then hop in the bathroom, call the girl or video-chat with her, figure it out and hopefully we'll have you back in your regular stuff in no-time. Because hot as you are, I can't imagine that's fun to be in for ya."

He shrugged out of his own jacket - Cissnei's was too form-fitting to get around that outfit's upper half easily, and while his own might not make it around all of it, it'd do much better than the girl's own. He wrapped it around her shoulders, gesturing for her to slide her arms through the sleeves, then zipped it up. There. A little better, at least.

"I don't know. When I wake up from wild dreams, I don't find myself wearing an outfit from that dream." He ruffled her hair, then led them out of the airship port and into a shuttle to the Theater District. "But you're home, at least. Relax a little for that alone, hm?"

"Sounds to me like as soon as you're settled, eaten and had a good nap, you need to call her and figure out what's up with that sphere thing. Maybe you'll be able to avoid Rufus entirely." He paused, then petted the top of her head gently. "I wouldn't bet on it, but there's hope at least." He sighed a little, then nudged her a little so he could wrap his arm over her shoulders.

"You've had a rough time, huh? Turks training teaches us how to kill, how to lie, cheat, steal, kidnap, and make bombs with leftover lunches. But not how to deal with crazy 'dress spheres' and shit like this, huh?" He felt bad for her, he really did. And worse, he hadn't been there to help. He didn't even know there'd been a 'there' to be. But he could be there for her now, at least.

"I know that feeling, Ciss. I mean, come on - we're Turks. We're used to knowing everything about everything, right?" He gave a little chuckle, but sobered swiftly and let the girl settle against him.

"Then you need a nice, long and hot bath when we get home. And a few days worth of sleep, hm? I can make sure no one bothers you, if you want."

He snickered, nodding. "I'll bet it does," he insisted. He stiffened a little at Cissnei's question - just fractionally, but he knew she'd be able to feel it - and his hesitation.

"Rufus Shinra happened," he commented in a lower voice, though it remained warm. It had been nothing bad. "He's a sneaky, plotting son of a bastard," he commented with a small grin. "He managed to wriggle his way into our relationship. Somehow. I still can't really figure it all out. Hell, I'm still trying to figure out if it's real or not."

He gave a little tut at her comment, ruffling her hair playfully. "He's not that bad. But he does have this uncanny way of plotting and getting his way that boggles the mind, sometimes..." But the train was stopping in the Theater District, and it was time to get Cissnei's weary rear end home so she could relax for a while. "Come on, you. Time for all good girls to get some shut-eye."
