Summary: Lufene wants something. Figaro's got it. She's going to get her hands on it, whatever it takes.
Location: Figaro, castle and town.
Date: February 11, 1804

The day began easily enough. The sun rose, the townspeople went to work, muffled explosions could be heard from the castle's basement levels. Figaro was an active kingdom, populated by many who would consider the day wasted if some interesting event hadn't taken place.

They didn't necessarily mean something this interesting, though.

Around eleven, just as the first people were starting to take lunch, shapes appeared in the sky to the southwest and along the ground, moving at quick speeds. Guards at the castle first spotted the strange specks moving closer, resembling nothing so much as an insect swarm. But the closer it came, the more it became apparent that whatever the swarm was, it wasn't anything as innocuous as insects - and the alarm went out over the Skyphones.

"Attack! Figaro is under attack!"

(ooc: Free-for-all post for anyone in the Figaro area! Lufene's brought lots of monsters to help wreak destruction, so anyone can fight as many of those as they want. There's going to be a couple of surprises running around in the battles, too, and Kuja's very welcome to contribute all he wants to the destruction. The castle's submerging quickly, so most of this will center on South Figaro. Start as many threads as you want, every thread will be a different battle. If you want other people to tag into your thread, just mark it as "Open" in the subject line; if it's a closed thread you've got plotted with someone else, put "Reserved for (whoever)" so people know not to hit it.
